Hawkins and the Upside Down – Insight

     The origin of this single comes from the release of the last two episodes of the fourth season of Stranger Things. I wanted to add an extra soundtrack to the show.

      To recreate the atmosphere of the TV show was really a funny challenge because of the iconic sound from the 80’s synths. I really wanted to stick to the identity of the soundtrack. This music is mainly composed of ambient tracks made from synth’s textures; thus, it was really great to search the right sound among hundreds of presets and tweak these presets to extract the sound I wanted. I don’t have analog gear, so I thank the Analog Dreams bank in Kontakt.
